Of all the things we've created over the past 100 years, we're most proud of the thousands of Colorado jobs.

For more than 100 years, CoorsTek has been owned and operated in Golden, Colorado. Today, CoorsTek is a local company with global reach manufacturing products used all over the world. Our thousands of American employees provide amazing products to more than 10,000 customers around the world. CoorsTek is proud of our employees and the Colorado communities they call home.

CoorsTek began in 1910 as a manufacturer of oven-safe porcelain. Since then, our company has grown to become the world's largest technical ceramics manufacturer. Today, CoorsTek manufactures components used in electric cars, heart valves, aircraft engines, mobile phones and much, much more. We proudly manufacture precision components for medical applications with repeatable tolerances down to a 30 millionth of an inch – 100 times smaller than the width of a human hair.

Much has changed over the past century, from the products we make to the technology we help develop, but one thing has remained the same – CoorsTek is at home in Colorado.

At CoorsTek, we take pride in the fact that we are the best in the world at what we do. Our more than 2,600 American employees make computers more affordable, engines more reliable and medical devices more durable. And we do it right here in the USA.

Over the past century, Golden, Colorado has always been home to CoorsTek. Today, CoorsTek employs more than 1,000 people in Golden – our corporate headquarters and home to six state-of-the-art manufacturing plants. We resolutely stand behind the products our employees build.

While the great majority of our employees are in the United States, we have made strategic acquisitions of precision manufacturers to serve customers overseas. We live in a global economy, and CoorsTek is uniquely positioned to create new American jobs to manufacture goods for customers in overseas markets. CoorsTek is, and always will be, part of the proud tradition of American manufacturing of goods stamped "Made in the USA."

CoorsTek is especially proud that components built here in the United States are used in body armor worn by our troops in harm's way overseas. Additionally, our ceramic armor components help shield ground vehicles, aircraft, and sea-going vessels - protecting our military personnel when they need it most. We have manufactured advanced ceramic body armor components for more than three decades and are working to develop next-generation body and vehicle armor to protect our armed forces of today and tomorrow.

Many of the components we build save lives and improve communities. Our Medical Products Group employs our core strengths to help medical device manufacturers' innovations come to life. Dedicated micro-machining and assembly teams work together to manufacture precision components used in micro-surgery applications. These devices help make surgeries easier, more effective, less invasive, and speed recovery times.

At CoorsTek, we go to work every day to make the world measurably better, one application at a time. And it all starts right here at home in Golden, Colorado.

Over our company's history, our products and the markets we serve have grown and changed. But, we have always made our home in Colorado. This past year, we invested $54 million into Colorado jobs. And today, with our $20 million investment growing our operations in Golden, our commitment to "Made in the USA" is as strong as ever.
